Limited edition hand made lino prints on banana fibred papers.The shield is symbolic of protection and strength. The Zulu shaped shield draws on our rich cultural heritage.
The Ankh is the key of life a symbol easily linked with religious connotations. I have adapted its shape to a sword representing strength. One side of the Ankh is male the other female and the two together bring a third entity, which looks back at the viewer questioning.
Guiding Ancestors (Angels) are hinted in the background they have brought us here and are a part of us.
